Privacy Policy
Unit 7 ("we," "us," "our") operates Nimbus (the "App"), currently in early playtest/beta. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information We Collect
Gameplay & usage data We collect analytics on how you play, including session length, voyages completed, in-game events, economy activity, and camp editing time. This is collected through Firebase Analytics.
Crash & diagnostic data If the app crashes or encounters an error, we collect crash logs and device diagnostic information (device model, OS version, and app state at time of crash) through Firebase Crashlytics.
Device information (for beta distribution) To distribute test builds, we collect device identifiers needed for app installation. This is currently handled through Firebase App Distribution. As we transition iOS testing to TestFlight, this will instead be handled through Apple's TestFlight service, governed by Apple's own privacy terms.
Contact information If you sign up to playtest Nimbus, we collect your name and email address to send you build access and communicate about the test.
How We Use This Information
Operate and improve the App
Diagnose and fix bugs and crashes
Distribute test builds to registered testers
Communicate with playtesters about builds, updates, and feedback
We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention
We retain playtest data for as long as needed to support development and testing. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see below).
Children's Privacy
Nimbus is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at nimbus.voyage@gmail.com. You can also stop participating in the playtest at any time, which stops further data collection tied to your account.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app and our testing process evolve (e.g., as we move to TestFlight, or add new services). We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
